Bovard Administration Building
Perhaps the most iconic of the University Park campus’s Northern Renaissance-style structures, George Finley Bovard Administration Building houses many of USC’s central administrative offices as well as an auditorium that is one of the oldest and busiest performance venues in Southern California. The three-story brick building – completed in 1921 and named for USC’s fourth president – is distinguished by a 116-foot central tower flanked by two wings, one named James Harmon Hoose Hall of Philosophy, and the other Thomas Blanchard Stowell Hall of Education.
